“To collect photographs is to collect the world”
I decided to take a different approach to my selfie this week. In my bedroom, i have a magnetic photo board so I can put photos up without poking a hole though them. I usually change up the photos but for the time being, these are the photos I had up. They include mainly photos of my friends and my pets, with one solo photo of me when I tuned 18. Some of the photos were taken in different states such like Georgia and California, while others remain in New Jersey. I like having photos with me of my friends and the places I've been, I feel it immortalizes the memories. I chose this quote, for a very similar reason as another student, who chose the same quote. These photos are evidence that there are places outside your home town that exist, they are proof that I have friends and go out. We have photos because, sometimes we have something to prove. I feel printing out a photo. makes it seem more real, having a physical object to be able to have with you when you don't have any technology, can be a very romantic way of having memorizes.
