“To collect photographs is to collect the world”

     This quote from “On Photography” for Susan Sontag caught my attention. It looks strange to collect the world through some papers or flash drives, however it is true. We can see the world through photographs. We can collect photos that work as evidence without any doubt giving us a real story about life. In this selfie I tried to express this short phrase through collecting photos from many sources to tell me more about world. I also collected photos of me and my family carrying a lot of memories of my childhood. I can see my previous life and my current world through photos. I can see my friends and my family members through instagram and facebook. I can collect information about countries’ histories through pictures. Nowadays, photos are not just the paper form that we knew before. They are found as a small flash drive or folder on my computer. They are found everywhere on the internet staying to tell us stories about real life.
